"Why would our parents think about when we're not heard from for a week, or ever?" Hazel asked.
"Well, no evidence of kidnap besides being missing and nothing else, no DNA, finger prints, nothing. So what would I know?" I asked.
"Good question." Said Ming's voice. "We have erased your parents memory, for now, if you make it, it will be instantly restored, if not, well, that wouldn't matter would it?"
The voice cut out.
"Well, there's your answer, nothing." I said.
Hazel stood with slumped shoulders, folded her and then we started walking again
