"Compression asphyxiation" Brennen spoke
"Yeah, so we're looking for an average Joe or average Jane, it's not about strength, it's about the right position, the right place and then done" Alex informed, Brennen hummed in response.
"We should try Oakley Funeral Services, they might be able to help" Brennen suggested suggested
"How?" Alex questioned,
"We found antibacterial soap on the body, that's what they use to prepare the body, also hair looked just cleaned" Brennen replied
"Are you suggesting that the killer killed their victim then prepared their body for the perfect scene" Alex said, eyebrows raised,
"That's exactly what I'm saying Alex" Brennen said before grabbing his coffee, walking to his car too drive the the funeral service, with Alex following quickly.
"Hi Mr Fancis I'm Detective Taylor this is my partner Detective Garaskarth" Brennen said confidentiality shaking his hand,
"We've come to ask a few questions" Alex reassures.
"Sir if you don't mind me asking but what do you wash the bodies with?" Brennen asked, he had a look on his face, he wasn't the first person to ask.
"We wash the bodies with antibacterial soap, doesn't harm the skin, but keeps it's clean also prevents rotting" Mr Fancis answered,
"This wouldn't have anything to do with the rose killer now would it?" He questioned,
"That's classified sir" they then excused ourselves and left,
"Do you think it's him" Alex asks
"No, doing what they do requires skill and delicacy, this killer isn't who you would expect, and they know that" Brennen replied
This was more complicated than they thought. This killer was smart. Very smart.
