Brendan|Hayley
"This sucks! I keep falling into the water all the time!"
"That's because you're just learning. You'll be good soon, don't worry."
"Maybe it's because you're a horrible teacher Brendan."
"Or because you're a bad student, Hayles. Okay, now focus. The next wave is coming. Lay flat on the board, paddle forwards, when the wave comes-"
"Stand up, balance my legs, blah blah blah, let's just get this over with."
" *laughs* "
"Shut up. I'm concentrating."
Five minutes later,
"That's it. This is totally unfair! How can you surf like that?!"
"I told you, I learnt it when we went to California on vacation. Our family used to go there almost every summer."
"Yeah. But this sucks! I'm never going to be able to surf."
"Don't worry. You'll be able to surf before we leave here, promise."
"Humph. I highly doubt that."
"Hey, we should be getting out of the water now. The sun's setting."
"Okay. Last wave?"
"You do it yourself. I'll pack up our stuff."
"Okay. See in a few."
.
.
."What are we doing now?"
"There are a lot of places that'll still be open. There's the George Washington House, there's-"
"No! I don't want to move."
"You know, I don't understand why you wanted to come to Barbados if you weren't even interested in sightseeing."
"I told you. I just wanted to go to the Caribbean."
"Idiot."
"I know. Okay, if I promise to visit any place you want to go to tomorrow, will you please agree to just stay in today?"
"Okay fine."
"Thanks! I love you."
"You're just saying that so we can order room service."
"Maybe. Is it working?"
" *laughs* You're weird, you know that right?"
"Hey! You're weird too."
"Sure I am babe. Sure."
"Whatever."
" *laughs* God, I love you."
"I love you too."
"So, which movie do you want to watch?"
"Hmm. Well, they have Die Hard..."
"Die Hard it is."
"Do you think watching Die Hard in Barbados will be different than watching Die Hard at home?"
"Nope."
"I think it will."
"Certified weirdo."
"Shut up."
