Alex was waiting in the park. Waiting for her, for Indigo. Sure, he was angry that Wis took his phone, confused at her explination how Indigo was "Different" (such an explination, Wis.) And nervous he finally got to meet her face to face, but was also excited. He was finally seeing her! After months of talking, he finally would get to see her. He was sure she would be beautiful.

Indigo, on the other hand, was terrified. Running late, struggling to find the right clothes, scared she would let down Alex... poor her was wishing she could just cancel. But alas, she couldn't. Why? For the same reason she was going. To meet him. After months of talking, she finally would get to see him! She was sure he would be terrified...

Alex checked his watch. Late. By 10 minutes. He checked again. Late. By 20 minutes. Finally, another person enered the park. And Alex had no idea what to say.

Indigo stumbled into the pretty park, staring at her foot. Please don't run, please don't run...

Before Indigo knew what was happening, a short redhead rose up and approached her, helping her walk to a bench. She didn't look up until she was seated, but when she did, she knew exactly who she was looking at.

"Alex?"

"Indigo?"

Indigo hid her stump of a hand behing her and closed her eyes, opening again to make sure he was actually there.

"Y-you look exactly how I always imagined you."

The boys face turned the presise color of his hair as he looked down.

"T-thanks. Is that a compliment?"

She nodded a bit.

"Y-you don't look anything close to how I imagined you."

And Indigo slumped, her eyes blinking back tears. She looked down as Alex slowly walked away from her.

As she buried her face in her hands, she chided herself for thinking anything different. Of course he wouldn't be able to see her the way she saw him. Of course his heart wasn't racing as they met eyes. And if it was, it wasn't out of the butterflies and flying emotions. It was because of straight fear.

Indigo cried. And cried. And-

Alex was back.

Alex approached Indigo for the second time, hands behind his back. When she finally gained the courage to look him in the eye, the same voice from the phone spoke.

"I... I know I don't look like how you would have p-pictured."

Alex nodded and then spoke.

"No, you don't."

Indigo returned to her head in her hands before being tapped by Alex. When she looked up, his hands were holding flowers.

"You look much, much, more beautiful."

Alex sat down next to Indigo as she looked at him in shock.

"W-what?"

"I've never seen anyone as stunning as you. I wish we met earlier. Hi, I'm Alex."

Indigo smiled through her tears.

"Hi Alex. I'm Indy."

And he leaned towards her.

The two pairs of lips met.

I'm kissing him?

I'm kissing her.

Alex rested his hand in the back of her head as she pulled close to him, both trying to remember every detail of the first kiss.

Finally, Indy pulled away, wiping away tears as Alex wrapped her hand around her.

She whispered to Alex.

"I just realized. I don't even know your full name yet!"

Alex grinned and leaned towards her.

"Hi! Have we met? My name is Alex Richard Wood. I'm a tiny bit in love with you."

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Hill. My name is Indigo Quincy Sparks, I'm a teensy bit in love with you, too."
