It had marked one month to this day since you and your boyfriend of two and a half years had broken up. It still made you so upset that you guys had ended on bad terms, but instead of moping around like you had done for the past four weeks, you decided on just ignoring the date and taking your dogs for a walk.
"Dad, I'm taking the dogs for a walk." You called to your dad who was in the office as you attached the leads to the dog.
"Okay honey, be safe, I love you." He called back.
"Love you too." You smiled at how caring your dad was. Recently, he had been promoted in his job, so usually he was in his office. You had your own apartment in west Hollywood, but you were staying with your dad in Los Angeles for a few days with your puppies. It had also been hard because the dogs were both yours and Kade's, but he made it clear that they should just stay with you. There were three dogs all together, your oldest Amara who was the mother of your two younger puppies Harley and Dexter. They were bull dogs and the other puppies were sold to happy families who wanted dogs of their own.

You were heading to the door when Dexter pulled back.
"Come on grumpy, we won't be out for that long." You laughed grabbing one of their toy balls, as soon as he heard the squeak of the ball he rushed along. You made it to the park, where you were sat on the ground, Amara chilled out next to you and the puppies in between your legs chasing each other.
"Y/N?" You heard that all to familiar voice, you didn't even want to turn around.
"What do you want Kade? You made it clear that you never wanted to see me again so just leave." You sighed as he sat down. Amara immediately started barking.
"Chill out pup." You sighed stroking her.
"I never meant anything I said, I know you didn't either Y/N. That fight was pointless and I'm sorry for what I said." He admitted. Harley hopped over your leg and nuzzled her head into the side of his leg.
"I'm sorry too, but how did you find me?" You asked turning your head and looking him in the eye.
"Your dad called me, he said he hates seeing you so mopey all the time, and I guess I miss you." His voice cracked, you didn't say anything but rest your head on his shoulder.
"It'll all be okay in the end I suppose." You mumbled. Eventually you two did end up getting back together, and you both vowed to never let another argument get in the way of the two of you.
