Is this sweater baggy enough
For you not to stare
Are these pants loose enough
For you to not whistle
Are my lips stiff enough
For you not to know you hurt me
Am I finally safe
Finally away from your looks
Your calls
Your comments
Am I finally in the clear
Am I finally not going to be scared
How could I have thought that
Like clockwork
You did it again
Is it what I wear?
How I act?
Or is it what I can't control?
I can't control the size of my boobs
I cant control the size of my butt
But you can control your eyes
You can control Your mouth
And most of all
What all girls are afraid of
Your mind

A Touch of Innocence
