Phil slowly pushes his way through the big crowd. The pathways are littered with popcorn, and sticky with spilled drinks. Everyone is packed together like sardines, but the energy in the room is infectious.
Phil finds an empty seat just as the acrobats swing in from a shadowy corner of the tent. Everyone rises to the feet cheering as they flip and swing and jump like pros.
Phil sits back with popcorn, feeling good for the first time in months, he knew sneaking here was the best idea he could have had.
He sat at watched the whole show in amazement, so many crazy acts, he was almost intimidated. Though he was excited for the final act which everyone was talking about.
And he certainly could wait until after the show.
