Valleri was, again, walking home from school...alone.  Mary had another after school rehearsal for band.   She was on the sidewalk walking when a boy her age bumped into her...he was on roller skates.

"Oh, I'm sorry." The boy apologized.

"You're fine!  Don't worry about it."

He was about her height with brown straight hair, that she knew was meant to be curly.  His eyes were a beautiful shade of hazel.  He was wearing a black t-shirt with a denim jacket, some blue jeans, and black leather dress shoes.

"What's your name?"  The boy asked.

"My name is Valleri.  Valleri Hope.  You?"

"Micky.  Micky Dolenz.  Nice to meet you."  He stuck out his hand for a handshake.  She agreed.

"So, I haven't seen you around."  Micky pointed out.

"You must not come out often."

"The cave was a little dark today, so this is a one time thing.'

They laughed and Micky walked her home.  When they got to her doorstep she couldn't resist.

"Do you wanna come in?" She shot not believing what she asked.

"I can't, I'm sorry."

"It's cool!"

So uh, goodbye."

"Goodbye."

She hugged him and went in.

She went to her bedroom not knowing what to do.  She didn't even notice she was home alone.  She was in love with three guys, what could she do?  She decided to sleep on it.  She woke up to the sound of her ringtone.

"What is it, Mary?"

"Just remembered you.  are you alright?"

"I fell in love again."

"Who and how..."

"A common Samaritan on roller skates named Micky Dolenz."

"He a foreigner?"

"Nah, he's from California.  Los Angeles to be exact."

"Peculiar last name for a Californian..."

"Not really..anyways...what if it happens again!?"

"It won't!  Trust me!  Peter asked about ya yesterday by the way."

"Mary!"

"Sorry..."

"I heard movement...I gotta go..."

"Bye, Val'."

"Bye."

She hung up the phone and went to sleep.  She didn't know what to do.  She dreaded seeing Peter tomorrow.
