"I know it's bothering you but.." My best friend, Coralie sighed. "You have to get him out of your mind."

It's been the third day, and I managed to step outside with the support from my two best friends, Mina and Coralie. I did a quick wash up, applied a bit of make-up, brushed my hair and changed into a red tank top, black skinny jeans and a black button coat. With their help and support, I put on my brave side and decided to abandon my quiet, cold and lonely bedroom.

We were now in a small cafe just closeby to Mina's house, having some breakfast. I was still heart-broken, depressed and had sorrow inside me, but I knew I had to cover it up or I'd just seem like a big, heart-broken, stupid and lonely crybaby, which I didn't want to be known as.

I cracked a weak smile, lifting up my glass and drinking the remaining Ice Coffee left inside. "I-I-I'm over him now."

"You're obviously not." Mina sighed, shaking her head with disbelief. "We can tell, it's not that hard."

I sighed, looking down at the table. They were right, my fake acting of happiness was surely not going to fool them, they knew every bit of me, and wouldn't stop until I was happy. I guess it was a good thing, but at this moment, it felt as if I'd never put on a real smile with real happiness within it.

"It's hard, we know." Cora mumbled. "We both know how much you love him and how much he loves you."

It made me feel a little better that Cora and Mina didn't use his name, because they knew that the pain would come chasing me back again, unlike my mother. "Can we talk about something else, please?"

"Um, yeah." Mina smiled. "So, found any new interest in anything?"

I shook my head, sighing. "There's nothing interesting for me anymore."

"I agree, this week is pretty boring." Cora groaned, slipping her hand across her cheek.

"Well then." Mina stood up. "Let's go shopping!"

A big blade of thunder hit across the sky, making us all startled. Raindrops began pouring over the cafe roof, and sliding down the glass windows. It became chilly all of a sudden, the glass doors opening and closing from the big wind, making everything cold.

"Hoorah, how perfect." Cora face-palmed herself, shaking her head.

"Dangit! Screw you weather!" Mina angrily flipped the middle finger at the sky which made me laugh quietly, a laugh I hadn't been able to blurt out my lips for a while.

I slipped the buttons through the holes of my coat, since I was getting cold from the big, furious wind shaking the doors. "It's c-cold."

"Yeah! We should get back to my place. We'll be warmed by the fireplace." Mina's face lit up.

We all nodded, standing up and pushing open the glass doors. It was quite hard, it was like a battle between us 3 and the angry wind. "Bloody hell!" I groaned, stepping outside.

"Why now?!" Cora complained, her long blonde hair swaying side to side as she squinted her eyes, trying to see, from all that hair going messily around her face.

My hair was getting tangled, flying up in the air from the wind. Mina had the worst time because her long black hair was flying in all sorts of places, making her unable to see properly.

The chilly air hit my hand as we walked down the quiet pavement, that only had the lingering sound of wind. "It's funny, we usually don't get such a pain in the ass weather." Mina laughed nervously.

"It's annoying! My hair is going to be a big afro!" Cora whined, her yellow cardigan flying about.

We soon reached Mina's 2-story beautiful house that was so comfy. Everything about it was cozy and loveable. We hurried inside, shutting the door closed as we all phew'd, the furious wind was not chasing us anymore.
