"SUPRISE!"

The lights instantly flashed on, and all of a sudden, familiar faces all jumped out from behind the couch, making me quite terrified, actually. I was never really the one for suprise parties, but I did love them after all.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" They all said at the same time, making me grin with happiness. I was now turning the big one six.

I smiled, making my way towards everyone and giving them gentle embraceful hugs and a quick peck on the cheek. After all the hugs, kisses and talking, they made me turn my gaze towards the kitchen.

In came Mina and Cora, carrying a big heart-shaped light pink cake with 16 pink striped candles on it. My heart burst with joy as I looked at them placing it on the table. Everyone began chorusing the 'Happy Birthday' song as I awkwardly stood there, listening. I never really did know what to do when they sang.. I remember singing it myself for my 8th birthday.. that was embarrassing.

I blew the candles, making my wish.

"I wish that..I would get my 5 best friends back." I murmured in my mind. No matter how many days, weeks or months passed, I had never ever forgotten them.

Everyone now began cutting the cake, as I slowly made my way upstairs to my bedroom. I closed the door silently, locking it as I did so. Crawling under the bed, I took the cardboard box in my hands, gently placing it on my soft mattress.

I opened the cardboard flaps, already tears beginning to brim in my eyes as I saw what was inside. It was a box of pictures of me and Harry. It was stuffed with them.. I'd never have the guts to just throw it away or keep it somewhere like in the basement.. It would always be under my bed, where I would look at the pictures every night and cry myself to sleep sometimes.

I picked up one of Harry smiling directly at the camera as he held a small note saying my name on it, added in with a small heart besides it. I gently wiped the picture, letting a tear delicately drop on the picture, making a small puddle on his cheek.

"I wish you were here, Harry." I sighed. "It's not the same without you. I don't feel the real happiness I felt when I was with you." Talking to a picture seemed weird, but I did it all the time. As if he could hear me, I know, but it was the only possible way.

Another tear flopped on my light blue skirt, the thoughts flooding into my mind that he doesn't even remember me anymore..

"Open it." He smiled, handing me a yellow box with a green ribbon on top. I raised my eyebrow, opening the lid and gasping at the sight.

It was a beautiful diamond necklace, with a diamond shaped heart in the middle. It was breathtaking, just absolutely stunning. "Oh my gosh Harry!"

"Put it on." He grinned as I picked it up. He took the delicate necklace in his hands, turned me around and attached the necklace on my neck. "You look beautiful."

I smiled, looking at his amazing green eyes. "I love you so much."

"I love you too, happy birthday Skye." He grinned, kissing me on the lips passionately.

I gasped, quickly standing up and running towards my dresser. I pulled the bottom drawer out, staring at the thin yellow box with the green ribbon carefully placed on top. I picked it up, taking it to the bed and opening the lid.

I stared at the necklace, sighing. It was still so beautiful, and it reminded me of all those memories I had when I wore it.
