I was on the phone with my cousin Stacey I haven't talked to her since before I came to Boston. I been in the house all day bored, Miss Carolyn is at work and I don't know where Bobby is he's been gone all day.

"Enough about me, How you been feeling lately, how's Boston" Stacey asked

"Bostons cold I think the weather is starting to make me sick"

"Mhmmm, you and Bobby have sex" she questioned

"Maybe"

"I'm taking that as a yes, and with your naiveness and bobby's horniness I know y'all don't use condoms"

"I'm not pregnant Stacey"

"Let me guess lately you been sleeping later than usual, getting a little fatter, you start throwing up yet?"

"Like I said I'm not pregnant"

"I know you Tamika and you like to be in denial and you can't be in denial about this one, at least take the test so I can tell you I told you so" she said laughing

"Fine I take one just to prove to you I'm not pregnant"

"Lets make this fun, if your pregnant you have to come back to Texas to visit me, if not you can stay in cold ass Boston"

I got off the plane and picked our bags up and followed the boys

"Ard y'all I meet up with y'all later" Ralph said they nodded their heads and hoped in their car

"Where we going" I asked him

"You will see" he said smiling and opening the door to the car for me and I got in

I looked out the window of the car and thought California is so beautiful from the trees to the people. We drove for about 20, 30 minutes and then Ralph parked in front of an apartment complex. We got out and Ralph got our bags.

"Why are we here" I questioned him

"Well" he said dangling keys in my face

"Stop lying Ralph, this our place" he grabbed my hand we walked into the apartment building and it was nice it wasn't a regular apartment building like back in Boston but this was luxurious. We got on the elevator to the fourth floor. Ralph opened the door and it was amazing.

"I'm glad you like it" He said kissing my cheek

"When did you furnish the apartment"

"It came like this, I only bought a comforter set" He said flopping on the couch

"So does this mean we live in LA now" I said sitting next to him

"I mean if you want to"

"Of course I do it's beautiful here"

"Well Since you like it let me show you around the city"

I walked up to Monica's apartment and knocked on her door. She opened it and she looked beautiful as always. She was wearing a grey crop top and tights. I hugged her as I walked in.

"I'm liking the hair cut" she said walking into the kitchen and I followed

"Thank you, but what you in here cooking it smells good" I said walking up on her resting my head on her shoulder

"Well I'm making fried fish, baked mac n cheese, greens, and cornbread" she said turning around smiling

Damn her smile give me butterflies. I feel like a little girl for thinking that but she has a beautiful smile.
