"Sweetheart, sweetheart." Your mom said as she shook you awake. You fluttered your eyes open to see your mom holding your cell phone in her hand, "It's Luke." She added with a smile. You sat up in your bed quickly and took it from your mom, "Hey babe!" You exclaimed happily. Your mom gave you another smile before she left the room. "Hey honey!" Luke replied on the other end, with just as much excitement as you. "How was your day?" You asked, knowing it was night time in the U.S. "Pretty good, with the exception of missing my beautiful girlfriend." You smiled a teary smile, "Awe, Luke, I miss you too." A couple tears rolled down your cheek. "Don't cry baby, please don't cry." Luke said on the other end with a light laugh. You shook your head and sniffled, "I'm sorry babe." "Don't be sorry, we'll see each other soon. So are you ready for your family's vacation?" You nodded your head, even though Luke couldn't see it, "Yea, hopefully it'll get my mind off you." "Hey!" Luke whined on the other end. You sat there dumbfounded until you realized what had come out of your mouth, "No, no, it wasn't supposed to come out like that!" Luke laughed, "I know what you meant, I was just playing with you." You smiled, "Good, cause I love you and there isn't one minute that passes that you're not on my mind." Suddenly your mom appeared back in the room, "Sweetheart, it's time to go." She informed you. You nodded your head, "Alright I'll be down in a second." You told her before you peeled the sheets off of your body and stood up. "Sorry, what'd you say babe?" You asked Luke. "I said that I'm the same way." Luke replied with a chuckle. You smiled, "Oh, I'm really sorry but I go to go. We're about ready to leave for the airport. I'll call you when we land." "Alright baby, I love you." Luke said with a smile in his voice. "I love you too Lukey." You responded before you disconnected the call and got ready.

One of the flight attendant ladies had just announced that there was less than an hour before the plane landed. You flung yourself back into your seat and sighed. You unlocked your phone and starred at your background, a picture of Luke sleeping that you had taken. A little smile came across your face as you brought your phone into your chest. "I miss you so much babe." You whispered as you hugged it tightly. You closed and started dreaming, or so you thought. "Wow, almost a year has gone by, without seeing you, and you look twice as beautiful than before. I remember how hard it was leaving you to go onto a year long tour, it crushed my heart really bad. Although we're still young, I know that I love you and I could tell that you love me. Hearing your voice on the phone this morning was amazing, but hearing you cry made my heartache. (Y/N), I've missed you so much." A familiar voice said. Suddenly, your eyes quickly opened and you started looking around. "Luke?" You called out in shock. There was a laugh on the intercom, "Yea, I'm here baby." The voice, belong to Luke, confirmed. Luke appeared out of nowhere and started walking towards you. You just sat there in shock with the whole plane looking at you. "L-Luke." You whispered once Luke was standing in front of you. Luke nodded his head, "Hi baby." He said with a smile. Your bottom lip started wobbling and you broke out into a sobbing mode. When you stood up your knees gave out, causing you to fall. Luke instantly caught you and the two of you stood in the aisle hugging, causing the passengers to start cheering. "I told you you'd see me soon." Luke whispered into your ear. You continued to cry into Luke's chest. "I've missed you so much." You whimpered as you pulled away. Luke smiled down at you, "You have no idea how much I missed you." Then Luke's face turned serious, "But there's something that I need to ask you." You gave Luke a weird look, "What is it?" Luke bit his lip nervously and that's when you noticed he was holding a small box in his hand. You gasped, "Oh Luke......" That's when Luke kneeled on one knee and opened the box, revealing a ring. Your hand instantly covered your mouth and you stood there shaking with emotions. "(Y/N), I don't know where to start with you. When I first saw you, I instantly knew that I loved you. I don't know what it was about you, but I knew that I wanted to make you mine. I wanted to be the one to hold you in my arms. I wanted to be the one to cuddle you at nighttime. I wanted to be the one to play with your hair as you told me about your day. I wanted to be the one you had late night calls with. Now I am all of those things and I can't imagine myself being more happy then I am with you. I love you, I really do. You are my everything and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me and become Mrs. Hemmings?" Luke asked with a hopeful voice. You nodded your head violently with tears running down your face, causing the plane to roar with cheers. Luke smiled wide and slipped the ring onto your finger before standing up and hugging you tight. You and Luke then sat down in your row, that you once had to yourself. Excitedly you turned around to face your parents, who had mischievous looks on their faces. "What?" You asked as you leaned into your fiancé, who kissed the top of your head. "Do you like your surprise?" Your mom asked. You looked at them in shock, then at Luke who was smiling down at you. "Wait, what? They knew about this?" You asked Luke. Luke nodded his head. "Yea, Luke was a good man and asked us for your hand in marriage. Despite the fact that I wasn't sure about him in the beginning, he's a true man to do this. I've also learned a lesson. Just because your little girl's boyfriend is two years older than her, doesn't mean he's the wrong guy for her." Your dad said with a smile. You awed and thanked your parents, then you turned back to face Luke and cuddled into his side. "I love you." You whispered to Luke as you closed your eyes. "I love you too baby." Luke replied as he cuddled you close and threw your blanket over the two of you. The feeling of Luke's arm around you instantly made you fall asleep.
