Third person's POV
Its finally club time. I'm walking with Tezuka, Fuji and Inui to the tennis court.
"Rika-chan ,you go on ahead,we'll change first" Fuji said, keeping his smile.
She nod sending a smile towards him as well. she reach the court.
"there's no one here yet....Am I really that early?" she mumbled quietly.
"Oi! girls court is the other side, not here!" A voice said.
she turn around and see a sophomore with a rather long brown hair and a green headband over his head.
'so I am at the right place, thank goodness' Rika sigh in relieve then smirk.
"Nope, I'm at the right place, boya" she said moking the poor boy.
"Oi! give some respect! i'm elder than you! you cant call me 'boya' teme!"
RIKA'S POV
"i'm elder than you,baka. I'm a third year... I just transfer..baaakaaa~" I said smiling at him.
"why you bit-"
"I would really avoid that word infront of me, I really hate it" I said cutting him off.
"tch, if you're so smart then why dont you play tennis with me?!?" he smirk at me.
"gomen, no racket" I said boredly.
"why dont you use this!" he laugh throwing me an old wooden racket.
Its dusty, probably older than oyaji's racket. By this time, we already made a big ruckus out of the boy's shouting and yelling.
"I would really avoid playing with her Arai, you wont even score a point" Inui walk in.
"ah, Inui, Fuji, Tezuka you're late. I had to wait and hear this idiot being a sexist" I said to them.
"mah~ the changing room is having a ruckus as well" Fuji said.
"let me guess, Momo and Kaidoh again?" he nod, I giggled.
"Arai. 20 laps around the court" Tezuka said. That Arai guy straight away run out.
"Nanda? whats with that baka Arai?" momo said.
I turn to see everyone here already.
"He's being a pest! he indirectly call me short!" I said pouting.
They all chuckle.
"Tezuka, gather them here" Ryuzaki-coach said.
"minna, gather around!" Tezuka called out.
Everyone immediately gather and line up.
"Now today we have a new badge of regulars, with Ryoma in the team.. and so, your manager will be Inui while your assistant manager is Echizen Rika" Ryuzaki-coach said.
My eyes widen.
"What!?...b..but I didn't ask for it, and I'm a girl!" I said trying to protest.
"mah! I ask your old man and he didn't mind, also the rule book didnt state about not having a female manager right? so no problem!" she said casually.
"bu...but..."
"no buts! now introduce yourself" She said, cutting me off.
I sigh, giving up. No use arguing with baa-chan.
"hai,hai.... my name is Echizen Rika... nice to meet y'all. And yes I am Echizen Ryoma's sister" I added seeing some of them raise their hands.
"How can we know she can manage us!?" that baka Arai said.
I sigh yet another time. This guy is annoying.
Inui was about to say something when I cut him off.
"well,you see here, baka Arai...-" I started off.
Everyone snicker.
"I'm, you can say much more experience than you and I know your weakness. For example, your stamina is lacking and physical strength as well. 20 lap isn't much you know. Also that weight on your leg will sprain your ankle you know...as well as your grip, its really, really bad. I bet you never defeat any of the regulars before right? it'll take 100 years if you keep on like this" I ended my speech, smilling proudly.
He blush furiously out of embaressment.
"Hahahaha!!! no more less than what I expected from you" coach boasted.
"you have a good observation, Rika-chan" Fuji complement.
"thanks, Fuji" I thank him.
"now regulars will be doing something else, since the district tornament is tommorow. Go in the court, I'll explain further. The others will be handled by coach" Inui said.
Everyone start to go to their respected area. I called Inui.
"yes?"
"I'm sure you know about who and what am I right?..... I want you to keep it a secret....." I said.
he sigh.
"I suppose I understand, who knows about it other than me?" He ask.
"My family, Ryuzaki-coach and now you...." I replied.
"you know, its not gonna last long, this secret...." He said.
I started heading towards the other court.
"*shiteru yo, shiteru saa"
TEZUKA'S POV
If she plays tennis, it can mean that she's as good as Echizen, or maby stronger... she did say she's more experience than Arai, her observational skill is better than normal as well. Interesting.
FUJI'S POV
This year is going to be interesting. Never actually believe that she'll become part of the team, eventhough its supporting role only. I chuckled.
Back To Rika's POV
After I went to the washroom for awhile, I saw all the regulars collapsed well except for Fuji, Tezuka and Inui himself. I sweatdrop at them.
"What the-- you know what? I dont want to know at all" I said to them.
When they recovered, Tezuka continued.
"Minna tomorrow's the district tournament, do your best, *you dan sase ni ikou!"
"Hai!"
