Prologue

So everyone knows that Merlin is literally like everyone's best friend. What people don't know is who is Merlin's best friend. There are two people who stick out the most when it comes to this. They are Gwaine and Arthur.

Gwaine has always considered Merlin his best friend from day one. Merlin was his first real friend. I mean it's not that hard to see. With this, Gwaine just kind of always assumed that he was Merlin's too. He would always be there for Merlin. The only reason he became a knight or actually did anything for Arthur was because of Merlin.

Arthur on the other, he is the type to give tough, indirect love towards Merlin. All the playful banter and jokes they share. That's how he showed Merlin he cared. He always thought of Merlin as his best friend but would never admit it probably even if his life depended on it. He always thought that secretly Merlin thought that he to is Merlin's best friend.

Okay. I think I'll always suck at prologues but I thought this would help the story some. Anyways yeah, I really need a better name for this story suggestions, please? I'll probably post another chapter today. Thank you for reading.
