The silence is dripping
Icing this empty tundra of a frozen heartbeat
Settling the glare of hatred.
I walk closer, exhaling clouds of sweetening crystals
and you stare.
You stare at my confusion as if I know what I've done
A shake of the head shatters any chance of reconciliation
He clenches his fists
He disappears.
