Dear journal,
I talked to Franz. Sort of, I apologized but I didn't say exactly what I was apologizing for. Honestly it was an apology for everything; for avoiding him, lying, keeping secrets, for being stupid enough to answer the damn door, but most of all for being a jew. I look german would that be good enough to keep Franz as a friend if he found out? All I can do is hope.
