Lies

I didn't know you hid lies
behind each eyelid
in your deep blue eyes

Your heart was as black as coal
but it set fire with passion
every time I changed my fashion

You only wanted my body
thinking it was something to be sold
you wanted my innocents
but you never told

I said "I love you"
which made your eyes go wild
and your lips grew
as you mischievously smiled
You replied "I want you"
and I granted your wish
giving you everything
and topping it with a kiss

When you finished taking part of my innocents
you got up and left
and I asked "why?"
your reply was "Babe didn't you know?
when we first met
I was a heart theft,
but how could you know?
for all I said was
a simple
'Hello'"
