His cologne filled the air in my room. He was here. My dad.
I jumped out of bed like any little daughter would when they haven't seen their father in so long, but sadly this little daughter had a healing wound on her left leg and had totally forgotten about it.
I fell to floor with a loud scream, tears instantly formed in my eyes. The pain made me want to just give up. All the painkillers knocking me out and I could still feel it.
In rushes one of the nurse maids they had haired to come check on me during the day time. She slowly tried helping me up as the others ran in as well, watching me cry like a little baby.
"You said it was nothing!" My father yelled and to who I didn't know.
"It is. No bone damage. Just grazed her skin luckily--" Angelo explained.
I had to shut my eyes close as they lay me back on the bed. I was sick of laying down all day. I wanted to go to work. I wanted to go home. I needed to talk to George and Dani.
"You're here," I managed a smile to my dad, embracing him as he came to my side.
"Look what mess you got yourself into," he hissed, shaking his head.
It was nice to have someone who actually cared about me worry, unlike these fake treatments I've been getting from Angelo and Kade. It was no lie, they only wanted me alive because I could get them what they wanted, and my father would not let them get away with it.
Angelo cleared his throat, drawing attention to himself. "Breakfast is already served. We need everyone at the table as there are pressing matters we need to discuss." And without another word from him or anyone, he exited.
"I better leave you to get dressed," my father said, standing up and straightening out his shirt. "Something tells me we're about to be talking all day."

I was the last to join the table, or at least so I thought. There was an empty seat right across from mine, but when I did a head count, everyone was seated. It was a full house.
This was our little homecoming.
The noise already filled the room even before I came in and continued to after I took a seat. Almost like no one noticed my presence, except my father who sat by the other end of the table, giving me a small head nod.
"Well he's not talking and we have to beat it out of him!" Kade yelled at the top of his voice like the maniac he was.
"There may be better methods to get him to talk. I mean he was family and --"
"Family who killed family." Kade said, cutting Sienna off.
The table went silent for one moment and after that, Sienna's voice was heard again. "Kade, sweetie. Interrupt me again and there might be a sequel to that 'family who killed family' talk."
I almost let my laugh out, but thankfully I had some self control.
As they talked on, it wasn't hard to realize it was Tobias that was the main issue. I hadn't wanted to say anything yet because I was still trying to observe the new faces at the table.
There was a girl with about 100 visible piercings on her. I may or may not be exaggerating. She had her haircut to the skin. I would say the piercings really made her stand out from the three other faces I saw.
"I want everyone to understand that we do not have all the time in the world. The bloody bastard Sergio will come looking for his son and the chip very soon," Angelo pointed out amidst everyone's talking.
