Snowflake

    I am unique, the only one of me-
    Such a sad and lonely truth
    For if I'm the only one of me,
    I have no one to share my youth

    I am alone in this world of ours,
    One speck amongst the clutter
    No one to take pictures with
    Except my lonely shutter

    I am the only one like me, the only with my brain,
    A truth I wish weren't true
    If I had a copy of me, at least
    Then I'd have someone I could call "you"

    Winter is long, deadly, cold-
    But at the very least it snows
    People say that snow is beautiful,
But I'd rather see a rainbow

Rainbows are full of colors, different varieties of people,
While the snow is just cold rain
The snow may be pretty, but when it comes down to it,
The snow is rather plain

But in all its faults, I love the snow,
For the words it speaks aren't fake
Too many lie, too many tell truths,
We really are all snowflakes

❤️Author's Note❤️- ... I'm not sure how I feel about this one. It kinda says too many contradicting things at once.
