I rolled my suitcase off of the plane's steps and made my way to the Minnesota airport. I overlooked the hudreds of people trying to get to the desks to catch their planes and suitacase wheels were all you could hear. You could barely hear your own voice. Thats when I spotted my mom and best friend Kellie. She wasn't too hard to miss. She was the only one with the mickey mouse pretend ears on.
"Lila!!" she ran over to hug me.
"Hey, Kel. I haven't seen you in decades!" I hugged her back.
"Seriously. You and Dean still date?" she asked.
Dean? Where is Dean? No where was Dean? I haven't seen him in three years.. He would be so happy to see me.
"No.No. No Dean. You're back in Minnesota to find a job, chica. Dean is a waste of time." my mother scolded wagging her finger at me.
I sighed and hoped that this fued wouldn't start again.
"But mommy I love him." I turned my head.
"And I love your future. Now come on. Everyone is going to be so happy to see you."
We picked up my bags and started for the exit. I looked back and saw a boy eyeing me from next to the elevators. He looked like Dean, but someone got in the way and when they moved he vanished.
