Era:

I lift myself up, staring deep into Hunter's green eyes. My throat closes up. Oh god, what am I doing? I can't be with him! I want to cry, but I know that this is right. We are right.

"I give up." I whisper, "I give up fighting against it."

He nuzzles my neck, barely managing to lift himself up on his elbows.

"I can't fight it." he murmers back.

Then we're kissing again, rolling on his floor. I know that if we're caught we'll be in a whole load of trouble, but I need Hunter... I always have. I come up for air, gasping as I scramble off of him. He flinches as I hit a couple bruises but doesn't protest.

"Are you okay?" I ask, concerned.

"Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine."

I turn away from him, embarrassed and confused. He's a boy, how can I like him this way?

"Well, this isn't going to be easy." Hunter sighs.

"No, no it isn't." I agree awkwardly.

I stand up and strip his bed down, the sheets crimson from the blood that came out of him all night.

"These can't be saved, can they?"

He shakes his head.

"Not even close." He replies, "Get dressed and give them to Sebastion to burn."

I don't question him, not anymore. Not now that I know that he feels the same way for me as I him. We kiss one last time then I grab my clothes and run into the bathroom, quickly dressing up and tying my short hair back into a small ponytail to keep it out of my face when I have my hood on. I get into some jeans, a loose shirt and that huge hoodie. I slip the hood back on and stare at this new person in the mirror. I let out a huge breath and walk out of the room, dashing to where Hunter told me Sebastion sleeps. I know that it was dangerous kissing Hunter and running around the house when it was clear to tell I'm a girl, I know it was stupid. But people do stupid things and make mistakes. I hadn't been thinking. At least everyone was still asleep because it was so early... I creep into the room a few doors down from Hunter's, right next to the bathroom. The door creaks softly as I open it and I wince, hoping that the sound doesn't wake up the boys' father. Everyone besides Hunter and I stays asleep. I close the door behind me and weave through desks and books. I smile slightly, Sebastion clearly isn't organized. Making sure that my hood is still properly on so that Sebastion won't discover I'm a girl, I try to focus. It's hard though... After kissing Hunter, after realizing that he also loves me... I take a deep breath and push it out of my mind. I lean over and gently shake the sleeping boy.

"Sebastion." I breathe in his ear.

He just groans and turn away.

"Sebastion!" I hiss, annoyed now.

He turns back over and his eyes crack open.

"What is it? Go away." he groans.

I chew my lip in aggregation. Clearly someone's not a morning person.

"It's Hunter."

That gets his attention. Sebastion's eyes open wide and he props himself up on one elbow.

"Last night... Did father..." He trails off.

I nod and hold up the sheets. He gasps.

"He's bad then?"

"Very. I've fixed him up the best I can, but apparently these sheets need to be burned. Hunter told me to wake you up."

"How come you didn't before?" He asks, jumping up and slipping on pants and a shirt.
