Vaniville Town, Kalos
"RIIIIIIINNNGGG"
The school bell ring signaling the start of school
"And a new start for my life" I murmur as I walk into my first lesson which was Geography
As get closer to the door I took deep breaths
"Act normal, it's only three months since her death you can get past it, cmon Ash" I whisper as I take my last deep breath and push the door open
All sets of eyes were focused on me like I was someone important
The teach then stared at me. She lifted her glasses up to get a better look at me
She stood up and walked to me "are you Ash Ketchum" she whispered in my ear
I nodded and she silenced the class by stamping her foot on the ground
And all the noise in the class stopped
"Thank you" she smiled "now today we have a new student" She then nudged me on my shoulder hinting me to introduce myself
"U-uh Hi, my name is Ash Ketchum and I'm from the Kanto region" I stopped speaking as I heard murmurs from across the class
Soon the teacher stopped them and spoke to me "So Ash, where do you want to sit" she asked
I looked to face her and I just shrugged
She looked around the class to find a suitable place to sit she came to a stop as she pointed at a boy with spiky mahogany hair and has a great big smirk on his face
"do you mind sitting next to Gary," she said
In nodded in reply "sure" I walked over to the boy and sat on the seat on the right which was facing the window
"Gary Oak, nice to meet you" he held his hand out for me to shake. I hesitated but I soon shook his hand "Nice to meet you too" I gave him a friendly smile
He grabbed my hand and got me into a position similar to a headlock which took me by surprise "I feel like we are gonna be the very best of friends" he shouts out loud which revives a couple giggles from around the classroom

"So that concludes why Global warming is damaging our planet" the teacher finishes Just before the bell rang
Everyone got up from our seats and started heading towards the door
"Don't forget to take your homework on the way out"
Everyone sighed as they took a sheet of paper and walked out of the class
"And Ash" she calls me back
"Have a great time in the school" she smiles at me
"Thanks ma'am" I say
"Call me Miss Juniper" she says
I walk out of the class and meet up with Gary
"C'mon Ash, were gonna be late" he grabs my arm and pulls me along the way to my next lesson bumping into other students along the way
"Were here" he lets go of my hand as we both walk into the classroom
The male teacher stares at us and smirks
"Your late" he hands Gary and I a pink slip
"Wait I have a reason" Gary says as he looks at me "I was showing Ash around, because he's new"
At the corner of my eye I could see his fingers crossed
The teacher stares at me for a solid minute before getting up
"Welcome to the school. Im Profressor Rowan"
I shake his hand "thanks"
Gary goes down to his seat and ripping up the late note on the way
He sits down next to a girl with long honey blond hair and clear blue eyes
Gary calls out to me "come here" he shows a seat right next to him
I walk over to him and sit
"This is my friend Serena" he says
"Hi Ash" she waves at me "its nice meeting you "
"H-hi" I stuttered as my face started to heat up, as I realized that I was blushing I hid my faceI but luckily nobody noticed it
For the remainder of the lesson, Mr Rowan blabbering on and on about history and about the Kalos war that happened a long time ago
Once the bell rang ending second period and we all rushed out of the classroom like there was a fire
Me, Gary and Serena walked out of the class and headed to the playground because it was break time
Along the way I couldn't help but stare at Serena the entire time
But as I was just staring at her i kept on thinking about what happened to me in History
'I've never felt like that to anyone....ever' I thought
"What are we doing here" I ask Gary
"They should be here right now" he say as he looks around
"Hey Gary" a voice said
All three of us turned around to the direction the voice came from and we see a girl running in our direction with orange hair and emerald green eyes
She pulls Gary into a hug unexpectedly
"H-hi Misty" he hugs her back
I chuckle and so does Serena "well your gonna get used to seeing them hug" she says to me
Soon five more people show up, there were three boys and two girls
"Misty why did you run off" the blue haired girl said
"Its pretty obvious, because she saw Gary" the purple haired boy smirked and that caused the orange hired to blush
"Hey Serena " a boy wearing similar clothes to me walked to her
"Hey Calem" she got him into a hug and she kissed his cheek
The boy faced me "who are you" he glares at me
Gary came up to me and patted me on the back "this is Ash, he is new to the school and I wanna show him around"
A green haired boy walks over to me "well its nice to meet you Ash, im Drew"
Everyone introduces themselves an I manage to learn their names
"Well we have to go, class is gonna start" Dawn says looking at her watch
"C'mon Ash, don't wanna be late" Gary walks towards the school building
Well I came here thinking it was gonna be the worst experience of my life, but to be honest. I'm starting to enjoy my new life.
"C'mon Ash" Gary calls out for the second time causing me to snap out of my thoughts
"I'm coming"
