There once was a man,
With eyes as blue as the sky,
Or as green as jade stones.
He was a loved man,
Though tales happened to be created
About him.
He was kind and wise,
With an elegance surrounding him.
He was cheerful and happy,
Even when his eyes and body
Betrayed his exhaustion.
Some hailed him as an angel,
Some hailed him as a fool.
Some picked out his flaws,
Some loved his flaws.
This man continues to
Work hard and shine,
But some try to break,
His shine.
This man is good.
This man is amazing.
This man is beautiful.
This man has a heart of gold.
He will shine, like a beacon
Of light in the times of darkness.
