I'm certainly astonished. Here, I thought we were getting somewhere. Progressing into acquaintances. My, I had it all wrong, didn't I? I pressed too much, touched a sore spot. For that, I'm sorry. But let's not forget, you've been punching sore spots of mine since your first letter. Don't I deserve some mercy for pressing too hard just this once?
I do enjoy talking to you, it'd hurt to end us now. I'd really hate to end it. Do you, too, want to kill the flower before it blooms?
