PONYBOY POV:

I had finally got to see my idol as long with the gang's, Ariana Grande. She's gotta killer voice and her heart is so sweet. I think she's incredibly beautiful too. We had moved to Manchester since we gotten more money over the years.

We got to the venue about a half hour before the show started. None of us could contain our excitement. We always wanted to see her. Especially Johnny. His parents never took him to concerts.

The lights dimmed and everyone cheered as Ariana Grande got on. She started to sing Be Alright and we all sang along at the top of our lungs.

"She's so good!" Two-Bit shouted over the music. I agreed.

"Manchester, let me hear you!" Ariana shouted into her mic as she started as started on a few more songs "SO ONE LAST TIME," The whole crowd sang along. "I need to be, the one who takes you home!" (Getting chills writing that.)

My absolute favorite was Dangerous Woman and when she sang it, I flipped. I love her!

The show ended and we were about to leave when heard something. It didn't sound like a balloon, it sounded like a speaker. Everyone turned around to see and what happened next was something I'll never forget.

There, at the main foyer, were people lying motionless on the ground. Somehow, I knew they were dead. All hell broke loose, and everyone was running and screaming to get to the exit. Johnny was crying, Steve was pale, Darry was breathing fast as to show how scared he was. Soda was screaming like there was no tomorrow, but for some there wasn't. Two-Bit was shaking and his usual happy eyes, were darkened by fear and anger. Dallas' jaw was clenched. I even heard him mumble, "How could someone do such a thing?"

We made it out and we ran into the streets. We saw about 50 emergency vehicles pull up and run inside. Steve was complaining about how his thigh hurt. We lifted up his jeans and saw blood. He had got a slight blast. Thankfully it wasn't too deep, but he would have to get stitches.

They pulled people out in the ambulances and wheeled out the dead bodies. I couldn't look. It was too scary to see. By that time, we were all crying.

None of us really slept that night, and when we woke in the morning, we saw on the news that 22 people were killed by a suicide bomb. Those souls would no longer get to see tomorrow. I'm glad they got to see their idol perform though.

We all went to her One Love Manchester concert, and there wasn't a single person not crying. I remember looking at the sky after seeing the signs. They said,

"For our angels."
