Chapter six

It's been a week since Riley had left back to be with her family. We were cleaning the house because that's what we do every Sunday.this was our time to change things we didn't like after church or tighty up a area we didn't get to already. When I was cleaning the kitchen counter the door bell rung. "can you get the door?" Shantel yelled from the living room. "Yeah, I got it" I yelled back. When I opened the door shantels mom was standing there. " hey ma" I said giving her a hug. "Hey twin" she said hugging me back. She called me and shantel twins cause we act alike. "New new in the living room if you looking for her" I said going back to cleaning the kitchen . "Mommy" shantel said running towards her mom. After I finished cleaning I went in the living room for a break before I go changing up my room. "Ma let me tell you what rashad said" shantel said filling her mom I'm on everything that happened between them. I left headed up stairs not wanting to interrupt their mother daughter talk even tho I knew what she was about to tell her. Walking up to my room i grabbed Oreo out her cage and sat on the bed. "Hey baby, how was your day so far?" I asked Oreo as I laided back against my head bored. " she hooped of my thigh running around on my bed. "No Oreo" I yelled grabbing her before she almost went towards the end of the bed. " you cant go towards the edge of the bed, we talked about this" I said holding her up. I laid her on my chest for a little then I put her back in her cage. I throw on some tight and a half short stripping back out my night clothes. I grabbed my phone and headed towards the dogs room. When I opened the door blu was chasing princess through the tube. I shut the door behind me and walked to get their leashes. I was gone take them for a walk to get out. It would be different cause they don't stay out long they just  pee and poop then come back in. After putting their leashes on we went down stairs. I let them run freely down the stairs even tho they had on their leashes. They ran straight to mama tiara (shantels mom) jumping and barking in excitement at her. "hey babies" she said putting them in her lap . "Uhh why they out they room?" Shantel asked. " cause I'm Finna take them on a walk but they wanted to say hey to grandma first" I said grabbing they leashes and headed towards the door. Walking down the street with the girls listen to my music I passed the group of boys and of course that same dude tried a to talk, to me again. "What?" I asked pausing my music. " you gone let me be your man now?" He asked walking closer towards me causing blu and princess to get in protective mood. " aye" he said backing up seeing that blu was ready to attack. Blu and princess wasn't great with new people, they always felt the nerve to get in protective mode making blu want to attack and making princess join in after blu strike first. They may not get along around the house but when it comes to it princess right behind blu to back her up. " so you gone give me a chance or what? He laughs " damn girl your booty look right in them tights" he said looking me up and down. "Don't play with me" I said getting mad at the fact that he not getting the point from the first time we went through this. " what the fuck I do? Man, girl you playing with me" he said pulling his too big pants up. I kept walking trying to ignore him. "I ain't want your bitch ass no way, you ugly burnt piece of shit" he yelled causing me to turn around. I bent down petting the dogs before telling them to attack him. All his friends ran leave him by hisself. Blu and princess had him on the ground begging for somebody to get them off of him. " call me out my name one more time and I swear on everything it's gone be worst then this, your mom will lose a child and I put that on my mama! You shole got the right wrong person to disrespect" I yelled kicking him in the face. I grabbed the dogs leashes walked back home. Walking back towards the door my neighbors little son stopped me in my steps. "Hey lay" the 3 year old said to me. " hey Jason" I said waving at him. "Hey doggies" my neighbors son Jason said petting them where they loved to be petted. I waved at Jason parents who was watching him. Me and shantel babysited Jason serval times, Jason not bad he listen to whatever you tell him. Jason had a big puff and his head and he had good hair. He made me always think about how my future kids hair would come out. Even tho I had good hair my baby daddy probably won't and my baby could take after the father in that case. After Jason was finish playing with the dogs I walked in the house letting them go free for a while. Walking in the living room shantels brother was seating beside their mom. "Hey kaden" I said walking over giving him a dap before seating down beside shantel to tell her what happened. "Kay I know them not my pizza rolls" I said watching him eat one. Kaden was a rising senior in college, he finna be twenty years old in a few months. "Yeah these yours but I'll buy you some more" he said putting another in his month. "Y'all let me tell y'all what happened" I said changing the conversation. " what happened?" Shantel asked. " you know the Conner boys right? the one I told you who tried to holla at me last time?" I asked so she would know who I'm talking about before I continue. "Yeah, what about him? " She asked letting me know she wanted me to continue. " so you know I'm walking the dogs and I got my earbuds in or whatever and I walked pass him and seen his mouth moving so I paused my music and he all like "you gone let me be your man now and he tried to get close but the girls wasn't having it then omg yo..." I said standing up getting heated. "What happened twin?" Mama tiara asked. "Ok then he was like "you gone give me a chance or what?" Then he gone say these tights making my butt look big and I was like don't play with me and so he was like "what the fuck did I do? Man girl you playing with me" so I kept walking and this where he got disrespectful towards me he was like " I don't want your bitch ass anyway, you burnt piece of shit" so I had the dogs attack him and I told him, straight up like next time you call me out my name your mama gone lose a child like straight up..... like who raised you to talk to girls like dat? And it like the fact dat he said all this cause I won't date him like he a desperate ass motherfucker and oh yeah I kicked the fuck outta his face before leaving" I said finishing the story. "Where his bitch ass at?" Kaden said getting mad pausing his game. "He always be on the Conner with his lame ass friends" I replied. "Let's go Handel him" kaden said going to the car putting his gun p in his pants and covering it up with his shirt. Mama tiara grabbed the dogs and shantel went to change into tights and slip on some sneakers. Walking back to the Conner it all started on and and shantel stood back as kaden and mama walked up to them. Shantel held blu's leash as I held princess's. "what up" the boy said walking up to kaden trying to give him dap. "Nah, I don't do that fake shit" kaden said looking at his hand. "So what's up den?" He said nodding at his boys having them come stand behind them. "Look, they bitch asses ready to jump" I said to shantel. "I wish the fuck they would try and jump him and it's gone be world war 75 yo I swear to god" shantel yelled getting mad ready for a fight to happen so she can back her brother up. " ayee straight up keep these two out cho month before I have to beat your ass" kaden said pointing to me and shantel. " and let lay tell me you calling her out her name one more time I swear I'm bust your fucking cap back" kaden threatened him. The boy pushed kaden making kaden even madder. Kaden pushed him making his boys try to jump kaden. Mama taiara pulled her gun out telling them to step back or she was gone shoot. They did as told letting kaden and the boy fight. Kaden was like a big brother to me and over the time me and him got closer. He very protective when it come to me, shantel and mama tiara. Kaden slammed the dude to the ground and threw repeated punches at his face. His boys couldn't help cause if they would of tried they would of got shot. Kaden got up kicking and throwing more punches towards his face. After Kaden was done fighting he pulled out his gun taking it off safety and pointing it towards him. "Don't ever disrespect her again and never put your fucking hands on me ever again" kaden said pointing the gun at him. The Conner boy held his nose as he got up, he was dripping blood. Kaden bust his lips. Broke his nose, and gave him a black eye. "Let's go before the police come riding down here" shantel yelled. Mama tiara took out her pocket knife and put it towards his neck. "Don't ever disrespect neither one of them a day in your life, I would of shot your ass but i give a little fucks to stay out of jail,but to show you I ain't playing I'm cut you a little bit, next time that little fuck gone be gone and they just gone have to take my ass to jail" mama tiara said cutting his neck. After all that we went back home. Kaden didn't live In this community building but his friend did and he would always come stay with us every other weekend. When we got home I putt the dogs back in their room, taking their leashes off and hanging it up. I walked up to the guess room to tell kaden thank you. When I got to the guess room door I knock on it. "Come in" kaden yells. "Kay let me talk to you" I said sitting beside him on the bed as he continued to play his game. "Wassup lay" kaden asked wanting to know what I had to say. " I just want to say thanks for all that, if  you would of went to jail or something it would of been all my fault, I just want you to know I appreciate everything you do for me. Your like a big brother I always wished for but instead I got a aggy little one" I said chuckling at the last sentence." It's all good, just know I got your back just as much as I got shantels. Junior my nigga but he bad as hell doe " kaden said playing the game. "Oh yeah sis?" He called out to me Causing me turn around. "Yeah?" I said wondering what he was Finna say. "I ughhh eat the rest of them pizza rolls, they was good as hell" he said as he paused him game. "Your an ass" i said rolling my eyes. "You love this ass" he said smacking his butt then winking at me."Ewww, get a life" I yelled as I laughed. "Awkward" shantel yelled as she walked in and  I walked out of the guess room.
