Sweet lilac-aly wanted to know how to do mock-ups on PicsArt so here's a tut on how I do it!

Remember I'm no expert and I have done this only a couple of times. If you are aware of an easy or better method, do let me know, I will wuv to try it out!

So first of all you will need a 'book mockup template'.

Now we open our template in PicsArt. I like to black out the part where you'll place your cover cebause I think it makes the adjustment a bit easier.

How you do it you ask?

This is how:

Press the 'draw' option from the tool bar down below

Press the 'draw' option from the tool bar down below. It will take you to a different screen.

Now if you select the shapes from the bottom bar, a menu like shown above will pop up

Now if you select the shapes from the bottom bar, a menu like shown above will pop up. Select the square shape on 'fill'. Also keep the color black. There's a box on the left most for color choices.

Put the black squares over the parts where your cover will be. You might need to adjust, rotate or erase according to your template's shape and size.

When you are satisfied, click the tick mark.

You will be send back to the editing screen

You will be send back to the editing screen. Now let's add our cover from the 'add photo' option in the tool bar at the bottom.

I like to keep the blend mode to lighten cebause then you will have to erase a lot less of your graphic off from the sides, top and bottom

Again you might need to rotate and erase your cover depending on where you placed your text and how well it aligns with the template.
