Dedications:

Ian stands up from the bed and starts walking towards the front door.

"Where do you want to go?"

I walk behind Ian as he puts his shoes on.

He shrugs his shoulders.

"Wanna go somewhere new?"

I look at Ian as he stands completely upright and shrugs his shoulders.

"Are you ok?"

Ian looks me in the eyes and I can tell something is wrong.

"You don't want to go...do you?" I say.

Ian lets his head fall.

I grab him and hug him tightly.

"We don't have to go. If you don't want to then we won't. Alright? I just thought maybe you wanted to. We don't have to nothing you don't want to do." I say and he nods his head.

"How about this. We go on a vacation. Go there for a week or so and just visit and have fun."

Ian looks at me and smiles.

"Yeah I'd like that."

"Alright." I say and back up a little from him.

"Are we still getting something to eat?" Ian looks at me.

"Whatever you want." I say and put my shoes on.

I grab the keys and let Titus outside.

He pees and runs back in the house.

Me and Ian walk out to the car and I shut the house door on the way out.

Ian gets in the passenger side and as soon as I turn on the car he turns on the heat.

"You cold?"

"A little." Ian says.

I don't blame him. It's only about 60 degrees today. Not cold enough for a coat though.

"Where are we going?" I ask

"I really want an omelette. From Fiona's diner."

I shrug my shoulders. "Fine with me."

I pull out of the driveway and start to head where Fiona works.

I can never remember what the hell that place is called.

We drive quietly and get stopped by every red light possible.

"Have you talked to Mandy lately?" I remember to ask Ian.

"Not for a while. You think she's ok?"

I try to lighten up the situation because I know Ian and Mandy were close.

"She grew up with me! Of course she's ok! Cause I sure as hell didn't give her an easy time growing up."
