I saw you everyday, the most precious flower in the world. You were always right there; opposite side of the train station, opposite side of the classroom.

You wore your petals and smile bright, attracting even the most introverted of people. Your chestnut bangs were lazily swept to both sides, but you were still able to remain flawless.

I didn't even realize I was staring until you peeked up from your phone screen to me. Giving me a friendly smile and a slight wave, you made my heart skip a beat. I immediately looked away, trying to fight the hues of pink rising to my cheeks.

I love you.

"I love you."

Hearing a voice call out, I swiftly looked back at you, my heart racing faster and smile stretching wider than I could possibly imagine.

"I love you too!" A higher pitched voice replied.

My smile faded as I watched you spin her around, laughing and giggling like you were the happiest in the world.

Her long hair swayed back and forth as you two hugged, and anyone would have thought you were perfect for each other, but I didn't.

I knew.

Your eyes were full of love, her eyes were full of deceit.
