New Discoveries

Once they got to where they will be staying Winter and Qrow were waiting.

Qrow sighs as he takes a sip of his flask "About time" he grunted. "Are you Qrow?" Tosaki asked. "Yeah I am, now onto business. To ensure our help, you will have to keep our nation a secret."

"Your nation? you mean Russia?" Izumi asked.

Qrow gives his daughter a questioning look "They think I'm from Russia" Ruby stated.

The huntsmen chuckle "No, our home is called Remnant, it's a entire country made up of four kingdoms to live away from the world. We do this for obvious and personal reasons, but one of the personal ones is to make it a safe haven for Ajin."

"Remnant was created for this reason?!" Ruby said in shock.

"It's the least we could do, A very special kind of Ajin is the reason for Remnant being hidden. And many people think the African Ajin 20 years ago was the first discovery. But in reality people have been hunting down Ajin to use them for their own gain for millions of years."

"But it was only recently when the Ajin were brought to light again in the world." he added.

"How do you know so much?" Izumi asked.

Qrow looks at Ruby and sighed "I know this because I'm a Ajin as well and I have other ways. But that's not important now."

"Want I want is to make sure you keep your mouth shut about where we're from. We're doing a large gamble here and the Ajin is not the only reason why we want you to keep your trap shut."

"What other reason?"

Qrow looks at Winter "Do your stuff Ice queen."

Rolling her eyes, Winter holds out her hand making and glyph appeared on the floor and a Ice Beowolf appeared.

"Wow! you can make creatures of grim out of ice!? that's soo cool!" Ruby exclaimed.

Meanwhile everyone else was looking at this in shock "What is this?" "This is my semblance, you see the people of Remnant, have a natural way to turn those who are willing to protect our home into super soldiers as you call it. This done by natural means, no lab or altered genetics needed."

Tosaki scoffs and was about to say something when Ruby cuts him off.

"And you have people who don't die, so don't go scientific on us, like you know everything about the world, if you did, you wouldn't need to hunt Ajin down to know how we work. Besides those who don't take a chance into figuring out if it's right or not, are arrogant children."

"But then again, they have big ego's from having a giant I.Q. So it's only natural that they would practically ooze out arrogance like it was water."

Everyone looked at her in shock, Kei then puts a hand to his mouth as he starts to laugh "That was a good burn Ruby!" he exclaimed.

"Hey! that's not funny!" Tosaki yelled at him.

Qrow and Kou then joined in as well.

Izumi and Winter looked all reserved but even a blind person could tell they're trying to hold laughing as well.

"She's kinda right, that's how all those researchers and doctors act!" Qrow exclaimed holding his sides.

Once he was done he gets serious again and looks at Tosaki "Putting laughing matter aside, will you keep our home a secret." 

"Your home knows how to naturally produced super soldiers with strange powers without being a Ajin? how do I know you won't attack."

"Mainly we're dealing with the creatures of grim, the ice copy that the Ice Queen made is one of them. They're neither, Ajin, or human. They're a plague that brings only destruction and death."
