Season's Greetings

Until the tilted pole points most away
And we here see that mornings late begun
And early sunsets shorten up the day.
But as the Earth keeps rolling in her path
We roll with her, and as our days go on
We learn again that God's no god of wrath
For by and by more early comes the dawn.
Rebirth of all good things we celebrate
Each time we reach this season of the year,
It's life's renewal we anticipate
Renewing faith and hope and love and cheer,
Reflecting with these products of our minds
God's greater astronomical designs.
