I ran as quickly as possible to the school and closed the doors.
"Shit, I didn't expect the police to catch on me so quickly. No, Karasuma is most likely behind this"
I told myself while trying to catch my breath

Flashback
I was about to cross the street until I saw a huge crowd of cars and people.
As I got closer I noticed that the police were investigating cars and some were asking the pedestrians questions.
Damn, I have to get away from this place.
I turned around to walk in another direction
"Excuse me ma'am, could I ask you a few questions."
I froze
"Oh, I'm sorry, I'm in a hurry" I said but didn't turn around
"Don't worry it won't take long. We're looking for this women. Have you seen her?" He asked showing me a picture
I only turned around halfway and saw a picture of some middle aged women
"...Never seen her"
"I see, then what about this boy"
He then showed me a picture of a 5 year old
"Nope"
"Thank you very much, sorry to waste your time" he bowed
"No problem"
I was about to walk away
"Wait! haven't I seen you before."
I stopped and accidentally turned around
"! I knew it! You're the one on the news!"

I started running away and pushed anyone that was in the way

The first thing I noticed was Nagisa, Just tied to the wall

"What, are you dead?"
I got a bucket of hot water and poured it on her

I said taking out my gun and pointing it at her

Karma pov
I called Karasuma and he told me he caught Takaoka and that he would catch up to us later.
After a while me and Asano made it to the school
"The basement is further down" Asano told me since I was in front of him
When we reached it I put my hand on the door knob

I opened the door
"Nagisa!"

I stood in shock
Nagisa's body was just hanging lifeless with blood splattered everywhere.

Anger soon took over me after seeing how badly damaged my wife's body was.
"OKUDA!"
She turned around
"Honey"
I ran to her and tackled her, then I began punching her face over and over again letting some of her blood get on my hands and face
"I'll Kill You! I'll Kill You!"
"Karma! Stop it! We still need her!"
Asano tried pulling me off of her
"Right now you need to focus on Nagisa!"
The minute he mentioned Nagisa I snapped out of it

I ran over to her and imidiently untied her
"Nagisa! Hey Nagisa! Wake up!" I said with tears in my eyes
"Kar...ma" she whispered
"Nagisa! Yes, I'm right here" I said in a shaky voice
"I'm so-rr-y"
"N No, I'm sorry"
"... I tried to s-stay s-strong, but..."
"Y-yeah, I know you did"
"I-I j-just w-wanted to b-be a f-family"

She nodded, closed her eyes and then I felt her hand go limp
