No one pov
A few moments later the ambulance came and Nagisa was rushed to the hospital.
"Nagisa, please..." Karma said while following the doctors, who were rushing her to the emergency room
"Please wait here sir" a nurse told Karma and then left him in the hallway by himself

Karma couldn't control his body any longer and fell to his knees.
"... Karma..."
Asano approached Karma not knowing what to do.
He eventually went up to him
"Come on, you need to rest"
"...."
Asano sighed
He then threw Karma's arm on his shoulder and led him to the waiting room.

Once Karma was seated, Asano left and came back holding out a cup of coffee to him.
...Karma still didn't move
"Shell be ok, she's a fighter"
"..."
"I guess there's nothing I could do for you" Asano whispered to himself.
He took a glance at Karma and then took out his phone and left the room, but not before putting the cup of coffee on the table for Karma to grab when he felt like it.

3 hours later
"Karma!"
Karma turned his head and was surprised at what he saw.
All his friends were standing by the door
"What are you guys doing here?" He asked and walked up to them while Asano remained seated
"Asano called us" Rio said
"Asano did?"
Karma looked over at him
"I'm clearly not the person you want to be with in this kind of situation" Asano said as he walked up from his seat and put his hand on Karma's shoulder
"She is in good hands" he smiled at Karma and then left
"...."
There was silence
"Is it true... did Okuda really..." Kayano held in through tears
"Yeah" Karma said softly
"It's so hard to believe, why would she..." Isogai aked
Everyone looked down
"It doesn't matter! She hurt Nagisa!" Maehara yelled
"Yeah, nobody messes with one of us!"
Teresaka yelled at everyone
"... where is Okuda" Itona asked calmly
"... Karasuma has her"
"!!!"
Everyone was shocked

After a while everyone was quiet and no one dared to talk
"Right now we need to be here for Nagisa! So let's stay positive!" Ritsu suddenly appeared on our phones.
Everybody smiled and nodded

1 hour later
A doctor came out and went towards Karma
"Are you here for Akabane Nagisa"
Karma got up
"How is she!?"
He ran up to him and grabbed his coat in a threatening way
"We patched up her cuts and fixed her legs, but she won't be able to walk be a while"
"What about the baby!?"
"... we were told bleach was forced down her throat, but we found none in her system, Meaning she most likely threw it up. As for the gunshot, it hit her shoulder and side so the baby was unharmed
"I see" Karma smiled and released his grip from the doctors coat
"You could visit her tomorrow
Karma didn't respond, right now he was relieved that both of them were fine now.
Asano pov
I was leaning against the wall outside the hospital, waiting for Karasuma.
Just then I saw a car come from the darkness and headed toward me
"Get in" Karasuma told me without looking at me
I opened the car door and got in.

"Did she talk yet" I asked
"No"
"I see"
"But..."
My attention went to him
"She keeps mentioning a certain name" he said while still driving
"A name?"
"Yeah... Shiro"
"!! Wasn't he..."
"Yes, but he disappeared"
"Shit!" I hit the car window with my fist
"Calm down, we're doing everything we can to track him down"
"I know" I clenched my teeth
He turned over to look at me
"... I know they both mean alot to you"
I looked out the window
"...Nagisa and Karma were the only ones to  
accept me for who I really was. Of course I want to do everything possible to keep them safe"
Karasuma chuckled
"What are they to you?"
I smiled
"Family"
"Then..."
"Hm?" I looked at him
"Make sure you'll always be there for them"
"Yeah"

He then dropped me off by my house
"Are you going to visit Nagisa?" He asked
"Yeah" I replied
"I'll see you later" he then drove off

Sorry that I didn't mention Asano in the beginning of the story.
To explain things everything that happened in the anime happened here, except for Nagisa's home situation, Okuda, Karma and Nagisa getting along with Asano.
