It was blindingly bright, the sun making me squint and causing me to be unable to see. My vision clears however when three men stood in front of me, glaring at me. I was confused, though that wasn't a surprise  due to the current state of my memory. It was foggy at best, completely gone at worst. Unfortunately it was at worst.

The three men looked like something out of a comic book - ridiculous half-masks covered their faces and hiding their identity. Not that I would know who they where even without the masks, I didn't even know who I was!

The man in the centre wore a white suit with a red sash going from his shoulder over his chest, the best description I could give was Disney Prince attire. The man to the left of him wore black flexible armour with boots and a blue tie, despite  being completely different from the rest of his outfit the tie seemed to suit the man well. He was dressed practically for fighting. The last man - the one on the right - gave of an aura of kindness and safety, it made you want to trust him and allow him to shield you from the cruel world. He wore a light-blue armoured t-shirt with trousers that could only be described as dad-pants, and a grey cardigan tied loosely around his shoulders. He had a smile on his face, and was the only one that wasn't glaring at me.

After spending so much time looking at them and their  outfits, I looked  down at my own. It wasn't that bad. The outfit was  completely black and easy to move in despite the armour ensuring that I was protected. I had no idea  what made the clothing so safe, but whatever it was couldn't have been cheep because it was incredibly comfortable.

I noticed that the one in the cardigan had walks towards me and was now kneeling on the ground in front of me, smile still lighting up his face, yet the other two where still glaring at me from atop the rubble that surrounded us all.

"What?" I barked at them, though they didn't  seem surprised by my harsh tone so I must speak like that fairly often. Still, the tone felt wrong to me somehow, like I wasn't supposed to be so harsh.

"You're evil schemes have been foiled once again, villain!" The one with the sash declared as he walked towards me. Although this just raised further question; what did he mean by villain?

"That's nice, and who exactly are you?" I asked, trying to mask my confusion and desperation. I needed some sort of knowledge, something to make my mind less empty. Even if it was knowledge about these three apparent heros.

"Oh, you must've hit your head pretty hard, I'm Morality," Cardigan said as he moved my hair away from my face and started inspecting my head. It wasn't was awkward as one would expect.

"You're telling me! I can't remember anything," I laughed, because laughing at serious situations was apparently something that I did. I felt alien in my own body; it knew all these things about me that I was oblivious to.

"You don't remember anything?" Disney Prince parroted my previous words.

"Well, I certainly remember telling you that at least," I,respond, something akin to sarcasm dripped from my voice. It felt natural, familiar, and much better than my harsh tone from earlier did.

"But nothing. At all?" He stupidly repeated. Was he really so clueless?

"We have established that," I respond before Morality helps me out of the rubble. I run my hands over my trousers, unsuccessfully trying to get rid of the dust and dirt that coated them. Oh well.

"Leave him alone Prince, he's confused enough as it is," Morality says to the red-sash man. His name was Prince? How ridiculous! Although it seemed to fit the dramatic man.

"I am Logic," the one with the blue tie said as he walked towards us. He stopped when be was slightly behind Prince, but it seemed more like he was protecting him than hiding behind him.

"And who am I?" I asked softly, I enveyed the trust that they had in each other, I enveyed how much they cared about each other. I don't think I've ever, in my whole life, had anyone care about me as much as these three have cared about each other in a few short minutes.

"You're Anxiety," Logic said softly before motioning for the other two to go over to him. The three of them formed a semi-circle where they stood in silence, occasionally looking behind them as if making sure that I hadn't ran away. I wouldn't try it, I had no idea where I would run to.

"We can't leave him!" Morality finally spoke up, ending the not-quiet-but-almost awkward silence. The others looks at him, considering his words before nodding in agreement.

"I agree, it would not be very heroic of us," Prince piped in with his opinion. I felt slightly angry that they where talking about me behind my back... or rather talking about me whilst I was behind their backs.

"But where shall he go? Logically, he should stay with us so that we can make  sure he does raise cain whist he recovers his lost memories."

"You guys do realise I can hear you, right?" I said after seeing them nod at Logics suggestion. They all spun around at a speed that was almost comical and cartoon-like. Apparently they had forgotten that small detail.

"Anxiety, would you like to stay with us? Whilst you recover your memories?" Morality asked nervously, like he was scared that I would deny his request. But I had nothing to gain by denying it, I truely had nowhere else to go or anyone else that would be willing to help me.

I nodded, silently answering their question, before  allowing them to lead me back to their house.
