The awkward tension soon evaporated as soon as Roman went looking for him. He had never had a proper conversation with the dramatic man, so he was undeniably nervous. Interacting with him was harder than talking to Patton; Patton seemed to radiate kindness and approachability where as Roman gave of an air if regal-ness and confidence, as if his whole being was saying that he was better than you. Yet his actions where kind, and whilst he did brag a lot he genuinely cared.

Despite his kind personality, it was the music that got Anxiety to stay and talk with him. It started with 'Disney' (Anxiety never mentioned that he had absolutely no idea what 'Disney' was) and somehow ended with them listening to the full Anastasia soundtrack.

The music - despite some of it (Journey to the Past and Once upon a December) being slightly distasteful - calmed his anxiety and he let the soothing voices stop his nervous jittering. It was nice, just sitting in silence with some faint background noise that he couldn't quiet make out, and something told him that it was new. A memory that wasn't tainted with the horrors of his past, with nightmares he couldn't remember and a face to jumbled to see.

It was his own, and a start to building something better for himself.

He hardly noticed that Roman was singing along (and oh god he had such a good voice, was it even possible for someone to sound so good?) to the songs as quietly as possible, as if he was trying not to disturb the peace before he was ready. Anxiety appreciated  that, appreciated  knowing that Roman respected him enough not to push his boundaries or pry into his comfortable bubble.

"Thank you," he quietly mumbled as another song came on, one he remembered listening to earlier.

"For what?" Roman said as he stretched over the bed to reach his phone and changed the song.

"I don't know, coming to talk to me.. I guess," he said as he fidgeted with his sleeves, pulling them over his hands and then pushing them back up.

"Oh, it really wasn't a problem. You just seemed like you needed company," Roman said as he tapped his fingers on his knee, like his body was humming the sung instead of his voice. Somehow that was just as beautiful.

"Why where you dirty? When you walked into the kitchen?" Anxiety suddenly blurted out before slamming his hand over his mouth. He shouldn't have said that, he should've just stayed quiet -

"Oh, I was gardening. Logan is always too busy to do so, and Patton normally forgets, so I always do it," Roman explained, seemingly nonchalant yet assuring him that he hadn't asked anything inappropriate at the same time. He wondered how he could be so open with his emotions, faint echo's in my head telling me that it was wrong to be so, yet he kept his mouth shut and didn't ask.

He reached over and searched something on his phone before putting another song on, this one in a language I didn't recognise. He must have noticed the look of confusion on Anxiety's face as he soon explained just what he put on.

"It's Journey to the Past, I just like the Russian version better," he shrugged slightly before gracefully flopping onto my bed again, "and the Russian Once Upon a December is phenomenal."

"Okay I see... hear... your point," he said as he turned around to poke his shoulder in his 'fit of anger' at having to listen to the same song twice'.

"Hmm," he said, not like he was ignoring the other but like he was so deep in thought, listening so carefully, that he was unable to form words. "Mic- never mind," he said suddenly, rubbing his eyes before allowing his arms to flop back onto the bed. He suddenly seemed much more tired than before, like uttering those few words had completely drained him of all energy, so Anxiety decided against pushing for an answer.

If he wanted to tell him then he would. And he obviously didn't want to tell him.

"It's okay if you don't wanna talk about it, we can talk about something else, like why the hell it is suddenly snowing when it was sunny," he checks the clock beside him, "3 hours ago!"

"Inconsistent weather?  I don't know, maybe because someone wished really, really, hard for a white Christmas?" Roman said with a laugh that made his whole body shake with joy.

"...Okay?" Anxiety said, not quite understanding anything that Roman said, at all. A white what now?

"Back to Disney!" he loudly proclaimed to brake the silence that had dragged on for a few minutes, "But this time.... Villain songs!"

"Okay," Anxiety replied, sitting the information that there where different types of Disney sons aside for future reference, Maybe he should actually research Disney.

"First, Be Prepared," Roman shouted as he started singing along to the song, much louder than before.

Somehow I knew, that despite the smile and the theatrics, his happiness ever since mentioning certain subjects had been forced.
