hey hey hey sorry for the inactivity!! i've been feeling really out of it lately :(
but anyways, here are the winners for the giveaway and the graphic contest! unfortunately, not very many people entered, and the whole thing was sort of a flop, but I'm going through with it anyways (otherwise it'd be unfair on those of you who entered).

GRAPHIC CONTEST
it was really hard for me to pick between these two covers- although only two people entered (thank you so much to both of you), both covers were gorgeous!

I really, really love this cover. the dark sci-fi aspect is definitely there, and the overall layout of it - with the smoking city in the background, the hints of red amongst the dark blue- is really, really great. I especially like the sort of messy order that's created by an overlay of multiple science/tech - themed textures. I love the effect on the title and how youve positioned it, although it could be a bit hard to read due to the patterned outfit Chloe's wearing. the only things I'd improve here are the brightness on Chloe's face and the way the hair has been cut. but overall, it's a brilliant cover!

this was definitely a close second- the moment I saw it, I fell in love. the blue glow around the sicence-y hexagons is perfect for the new-world, dystopian feel shiver has to it, and I love the way you've smoothly integrated the different colours. what I like most about the cover is the object placement- the way Chloe's face is in the background, and the city overlaps. the only reason this came in second was because the vibe of it was perhaps not dark enough - it sort of lacked a more sinister edge, mainly due to the incorporation of pinkish-red that left traces of purple. but the graphic itself is very well done!
