I woke up at 3:00am. I had been asleep for only an hour but felt well rested. Tyler, Mark, and Michael were asleep soundly in their bunks. I opened the door separating the bunks and the living section of the bus. Our new driver, Jeff, was listening to the radio. I wandered towards the front of the bus and opened the fridge to grab an apple and some water. It had been a long week, and I was excited to get back home to see my family, and to be done with the tour; but first we had to play our hometown gig. I ran my fingers through my red bed-head, and took a bite of the apple that rested in my right hand.

I woke up to Tyler standing over me with a smile on his face. "We are home, dude," he said. His voice was raspy from sleep, but his eyes were awake with excitement.

I stood up, nearly fell over, then walked to the back of the bus where I picked out some clothes for the day, brushed my teeth and fixed my matted hair.

"Only a few more days, then we are done," I thought to myself.
