She worked in that cute little flower shop.

I would watch her sip her tea from afar.

As creepy as that sounds it's not super weird.

Okay it is.

The little bell jingled as I opened the door to the shop.

She sat in her little pink dress drinking her tea as she read some poetry book.

One of her strap fell and she quickly pushed it back up.

The music playing in the back was cute and relaxing.

I knocked on the desk awkwardly.

Her head shot up quickly.

"Oh god, sorry! Hi how may I help you?" She asked and put her book on the desk.

"I love my love." It read.

"No problem, can I get sunflowers please?" I asked my hands becoming sweaty as I spoke to her.

"Ok." She smiled and headed to the flowers in the back.

I looked around the small shop and saw fairy lights above the flowers.

"Here you go. Would you like me to write a message on a card, it's no extra charge." She smiled and took out a sharpie.

"Oh um, can you just write, "Hello beautiful, hope you have a great day." With little stars or hearts?" I asked nervously.

"Sure, would you like me to write who they're from and to who they're for?" She tilted her head, her tight ponytail moved as well.

"Um...no it's fine just write From Dan." I smiled.

"Are these for your girlfriend? I'm guessing right?" She giggled.

"Yeah...yeah I guess so." I shrugged.

"Well she's a lucky girl." She bit her lip.

Her flirting was subtle but nice.

"I think I'm lucky to even know her." I chuckled.

"She must be very special to you then." She twirled her hair with her finger.

"Yeah she is." I sighed, god did she look perfect.

So perfect.

If only I had the confidence to actually go into that flower shop.

I stood up from my spot outside the flower shop.

But this isn't some dream where everything goes my way.

All I could do was imagine her talking to me.
