The door closes behind me. The spring air is crisp and cool, but the boy standing in front of me is the only thing giving me goosebumps. The only thing I can hear is my heart hammering to a Metric song in my chest (-help, I'm alive; my heart keeps beating like a hammer-), and I hope to God he's far enough away not to hear it.
Sunny breaks into one of his irresistible smiles. “Long time no kiss, Gin.”
I close the gap between us and kiss him hard.
