You ran to the manor.

You see the government was... Unaware of the fact that your parents were planning on the assassination and they took precautionary measures. Under the manor is a garage that has been left untouched for it is hidden as well, one of the cars is a decoy and once inside if you are a (y/ln) you will be taken to the under ground "bunker" it's a normal house with running water and electricity as well as food that has been in cryogenic storage so it would still be edible.

Why didn't you go here in the first place? The magic imbedded in the cloak was keeping the secret from you, people found out the secret and the "bunker" is undetectable no matter what, the cloak pretty much put you in auto drive and took you there to keep you safe (and sound)
