Marienna raised her head to look at her husband as he left the bed, they called him for something important, he said. She insisted on going but he refused. They were on better terms, not a happy little couple, of course. But they were better, he would hold her at night and kiss her. She could smile and snuggle close to him at night. But she knew one thing....it was too good to last, you would cherish this time though. They would cherish it together.
Robb was called by Edmund himself, he had gotten dressed quickly and rushed to where the others were. When he got inside the room he found his mother, who he had freed, and....Talissa there. Why was Talissa here? Then he remembered....his mother always favored Talissa over Marie....so instead of calling the true queen she called the lover? It didn't make much sense. When Lord Karstark came in he glared at all of them
"Look at them!" Robb commanded and glared at the older man in front of him
"Tell your mother to look at them too, she killed them as much as I "Lord Karstark growled and glared back at the young wolf. Then he realized something...the young queen wasn't here
"My mother had nothing to do with this, this was your treason"
"It's treason to free your enemies, and war to kill your enemies. Did your father not teach you that boy?" The Karstark asked angrily earning himself a punch from Blackfish "leave me to the king. Will he give me a skull before he sets me free? That's how he deals with treason, 'I, king in the north'. Or should I call him...the king who lost the north?"
"Escort Lord Karstark to the dungeons, hung the rest" Robb said sternly, showing o emotion
"Please I didn't kill anyone! I just watched!" A man from behind shouted
"This one was only the watcher, hang him last so he can watch the others die" he finished and turned around walking back to his chair. He glanced at Talissa
He didn't know if he had made a mistake or not, all he knew that he had to be just. He had to serve justice, he had to punish treason....he had speared his mother though. She had down far worse treason than Lord's and he knew it but decided to ignore it.
As they talked, Robb realized something. He had taken a big decision without Marie even being in the same room...yet he ignored that too, she wouldn't judge well. She just wouldn't have.
"You need his men-" Talissa was saying when the gates burst open and the queen entered not really pleased.
Marienna had leant what happened when she saw the guards hanging the Karstark men, she stopped them of course. She instead ordered them to be taken to the dungeons until she and only she decided otherwise. She was angry, mad. How could Robb even taking decisions like those without her knowing? When she entered the room and found Talissa in there she clenched her fists
