"Bye mum,Bye Mika" I was going to school like normal but my little sister wasn't coming. She's going to the hospital to have some boring tests done. I get to school and have a normal day but mum and dad weren't the ones to pick me up, my auntie is she said that.
"They'll be in Auckland she'll be back tomorrow...your sister's at starship hospital" i was in massive shock i was crying but not heavily, Faye my cousin was trying to cheer me up but it wasn't working my auntie came in and gave me the phone.
"Caelan,everything is going to be fine, your sister is just having tests done we'll be back tomorrow we'll pick you up early if something does happen..ok" my mum says with worry but it helps me calm down i was able to say one word "Ok" the next day was the beginning of my bad luck.
-Time skip to the next day-
Today I went to school normally but suddenly someone called me on the loudspeaker to get my bag so I can be picked up when I got there dad didn't talk to me to be honest I was happy then because I had no idea what was happening and I was pulled out of math and spelling tests when we got to the car I saw mum and Mileka crying the car ride home was silent but when we got home I was sat down and was told
"Caelan...your sister has...Osteosarcoma (Oz-tea-a-sarcoma)..A bone cancer in her arm" it felt like my heart had stopped tears started falling from my eyes first like raindrops it soon turned into waterfalls I ran to my room and screamed into my pillow and didn't talk to anyone my dad bought me my food because i couldn't look at my sister without crying i couldn't believe it my
6yr old sister had cancer!
