Today was just like every other day in beach city.But still somthing didn't feel right.I shruged it of it probbly just the season's changing it was the beggining of summer anyway.
"Lapis,lapis are you there"it was steven we were suppst to be going to the beach."Yeah just a minute"I shouted back from inside the barn.

Stevens Pov
The sun was starting to set me and lapis has been playing at the beach all day."Lapis,I think we should go back now"I shouted across the beach lapis must have heard me because she started to run in my direction *Boom* the explosion sent lapis flying into a pile of rocks she screamed out in agony then pooffed.The others must have heard becuse the came rushing over.pearl grabbed lapis gem and gave it to me to protect.it was almost fully cracked,I ran towards the warp I knew what I needed to do.I carefully set lapis gem in the water and befor I knew it the crack was gone.I picked her gem up and started walking back to the warp.
