I was on tour as the opening act for my friend Shawn Mendes Illuminate Tour. I had been away from home for a couple of months now and was missing my friends and family and especially boyfriend, Hayes.
I've been trying to keep my mind busy over the time but there are only so many things I can do. Every time I look at my phone his bright smile shines at me through the phone screen, but I'd rather that in person.
The minutes feel like hours and the hours feel like days, while I'm away.
Right now I can't be home, but

"With him is where I'd rather be." I cry to myself, "But we're stuck where we are and it's so hard. We're so far. This long distance is killing me.
I grab my notebook that I go to in good and hard times and start writing down my feelings.
