❝EMPTINESS IS FILLING ME, TO THE POINT OF AGONY. GROWING DARKNESS TAKING DAWN, I WAS ME, BUT NOW (S)HE'S GONE.❞
GENEVIEVE WANTED TO be surprised, but all she could feel was anger stirring within her heart at the facts — Charlotte had escaped, because of course she had. Now, she was out there, endangering lives by being the ticking timebomb full of light, and things were harder for Lucifer and Genevieve. Even more than they already were. The good thing was, at least they now had Amenadiel on their side, who had come to the realization that their Mother needed to be found and helped, or alternatively, taken care of.
While Mazikeen was out there, hunting for the Goddess like the bounty hunter she was, Genevieve, Amenadiel and Lucifer were sitting by the bar in Lux and nervously drinking whilst trying to come up with some kind of plan. Even though Ginny didn't care much for humans, she did like them more than she liked her mother-in-law, and frankly, the idea of Charlotte exploding was satisfying, but she didn't want to allow her the satisfaction of hurting someone else in the process. That was proof of how much Earth had changed Genevieve — she was now longer wreaking havoc at the expense of others, but considering the people put in harm's way and working to protect them.
"I say we go out and help Mazikeen, then whoever finds your Mother first gets to kill her and keep the head as a prize, eh?", Genevieve clapped her hands together, before turning to the two brothers with a grin on her lips, "eh?"
Sadly, her plan didn't really work for the two of them, so the Shedevil let out a sigh and turned back to the bar to proceed drinking, whilst Lucifer received a call from Chloe and nervously answered the phone. From what Genevieve could gather, there had been another murder, with the same kind of burned head as the first time — meaning that Charlotte had most likely killed again, and even though Genevieve usually didn't care, the news managed to frustrate her. She didn't want the Divine Goddess to get any kind of amusement, pleasure or success. Just what she deserved — suffering in all of its forms.
Whilst Lucifer talked on the phone and Amenadiel followed the situation from aside, Genevieve sat by the bar and in between sips, hummed Welcome to the Jungle as it played from the speakers around the club that was suddenly devoid of people due to more important matters at hand. However, the peace was split in half when a far too familiar voice spoke up from behind them, causing Genevieve's head to snap around to see who had entered.
"Hello, boys", Charlotte spoke mockingly, before shooting Ginny a glare, "and you", encouraging the queen to shatter the glass in her hand in the rush of fury.
Lucifer quickly ended the call, and as Charlotte walked over to the bar to pour herself a drink, Genevieve hopped off of her seat and stepped away from the woman to find herself standing between Amenadiel and Lucifer — evidently, her body was leaning towards the latter, their fingers entwining as they both eyed his Mother warily.
