(A/n- If you have made a fan made trailer let me know and I'll be sure to show it off in the first chapter!)

Different.

That was the only word that's on a constant cycle going through the madness in my brain, the chant getting louder and louder, echoing its significance to make me realize how crazy this whole night has been. I am actually starting to stand the boy next to me and that's a warning in itself.

I, somehow, always seem to tend to believe that a person's first impression is the most important impression. It's the one that sticks like glue, the one that truly molds a person to their personality.

I've known Liam since preschool and not once have I've seen him in a different light like I do right now and that makes me think I've been wrong. That the glue can loosen from the paper and maybe along the pages of the work, getting lost and misreading between the lines that is purposely being put on show for someone else to read.

My brown eyes find his and it somehow managed to make my heart skip a few beats. Never in a million years did I actually believe that I would be sitting here next to the guy I thought I despised  and actually be enjoying it?

His charming smile is getting to me and that's how I know I need to snap out of it. This isn't going to happen between us and it never will.

Liam's phone abruptly rang and he immediately reaches for it and clicks accept as he murmurs to me that it's his dad.

A couple of words were quickly exchanged and Liam begins to roll his eyes at something his dad says to him. I'm assuming the conversation isn't going as planned?

"Yeah whatever," he mumbles out, rolling his eyes at the sound of whatever his father is currently saying to him. I awkwardly rub the back of my neck, trying to find a random star in the sky to avoid the tension building up. "I'll see you later." He says flatly with a promise, hanging up the phone and shoving the cell back into his pocket.

I raise a brow in curiosity at him wondering what just happened and all he did is shrug. "He wants me home in an hour."

"Yeah, of course I should probably get going anyways." I smile understandingly, tucking a loose strand of hair behind my ear to avoid those chocolate pool of his that I somehow keep getting lost into.

The next day once I got to school the office decides to assign me to show the new kid around to show off our so called amazing school. The reason I got chose for this 'awesome' opportunity is because one of my electives is to help my peers and administration. Usually I'm not the first option to show someone around but I guess Kaitlin isn't here today. She's the one always down to talk to somebody new.

I honestly never really cared about taking part of school activities until this last year since I've decided to broaden my social skills and it looks great on college applications.

I sigh anxiously, tapping my foot impatiently against the dirty tiled floor while I wait for the new guy to walk out of guidance.

I've been standing out in the empty hall for about ten minutes by myself and still no sign of whoever I'm showing around.

I go on my phone to distract myself a bit and about five minutes later the door finally opens! And there is the new-- oh my gosh is that Noah?
