Payton's POV:
Kyle and I have been married for a year and I am 8 months pregnant. We were having a boy and he was beyond excited.
I am due next month and we were trying to have a everything ready for when he arrived. We were all excited, we revealed the gender a couple of months ago at the stadium and everyone congratulated us.
I was laying in bed waiting for Kyle to get out of the shower. He got out and sat next to me, he always liked to touch my belly and talk to our baby boy. When I told him that he was gonna be a father he was the happiest guy I had ever seen.
At first I thought he would get mad because I was gonna ruin his career but then I decided to just tell him and see what happens.
And now we're both so happy that we're gonna become parents.

So Kyle asked his coach if he could take the day off tomorrow and skip the game because I am giving birth. He wanted to be there, through every step.
He told me that everything was fine, he had permission to skip the game and be at the hospital with me.
My water broke in the middle of the night and here we are, at the hospital. Kyle couldn't hold in his excitement, I was in pain and he tried to help but it wasn't working.
A couple of hours later I'm now holding my baby boy. He looked just like his dad, I couldn't wait for what the future had for us.
It's now been a couple of days and we're back at home. Kyle has been taking care of me, and everyone has come visit. They even brought our little boy gifts.
Every time Kyle would carry him, he would smile and laugh. They looked so cute together that I was taking so many pictures of them.
Kyle's POV:
Ever since Payton told me that she was pregnant I've been the happiest guy ever. Then when we revealed the gender of our baby at the stadium everyone showed so much love to us.
I would think of our future everyday, like how many kids would we have, what our kids would be like, just so many things that I thought of. And just the thought of having kids with Payton made everything better.
I asked my coach if I could miss a game because I had to be with my wife when she gave birth. I wanted to be there, when my little boy was born.
A couple of hours went by when I finally got to see my little one. He looked so cute, his eyes and his hair were just like his mom's. I loved it because when I would look at him it would remind me of how much I love him and Payton.
We were back home and our families and friends came over. The moment they saw our baby boy they fell in love. They thought he was so adorable and it was true.
Every time I would carry him he would smile and laugh. It was so cute, it was one of the best feelings ever. Just thinking about how lucky I got to have Payton and him by my side made me feel the so happy.
I was beyond happy that I met Payton and had started a family with her. We couldn't wait for what the future had for us.
