5 years later
Jess was now 15 and a straight A student. She did not know the next year of her life would change her forever.
I will explain that in the next chapter but right now I will talk about what happened in the past 5 years.
Once Jess left she started to steal food from places for 4 years, once she was 14 she got herself a job and moved into an abandoned house.
After a couple of months a new family moved in, the couple had 3 children.
She had always had pictures of her family so she could recognize these people as her parents.
Of course at times she wanted to go up to them and ask why they sent her to the orphanage, but she just couldn't understand why her parents gave her up and then had 3 more kids.
She walked past there house on her way to school, she kept her head down as she walked past. They looked but did not say anything at all. Did they notice her?
She did not even know. She didn't care. She does not care about anyone or anything.
