Cupid Got It Wrong

A/N I don't own Oliver and Company.

Diamond was amazed, there was 4 dogs inside the boat house. doing their own thing. Dodger caught the others attention.

"Hey fellas, i would like you to meet my lady friend Diamonds"

Diamonds looked towards Dodger with one raised eyebrow.

"Really?"

Dodger didn't say anything as he simply smirks making his way inside. Diamond followed him, a Chihuahua came running towards Diamonds and grabbed her paw giving it a kiss.

"Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Tito"

She pulled her paw away and a great dane walked up to them

"I'm Einstein"

"Nice to meet you"

"Would you mind, I'm trying to watch my show"

Said a Bulldog that was sitting in front of the tv. Dodger smirk and pointed to him

"That there is Francis or what we like to call Frankie"

Diamond nodded and smiled

"Well they all seem nice"

"And what about me Dodger baby?"

Said a female voice walking down the stairs. Dodger circled around Diamonds​ and sat on his hind legs in front of her.

"This here is lovely Rita. Rita this is Diamonds and Diamond this is Rita"

Diamond smiled at Rita

"Hi please to meet you"

Rita just scoffs and walked towards her bed. Dodger shook his head

"Did I do something wrong?"

"Nah nothing is wrong, that's just how she is"

"Oh"

Dodger made his way up the stairs, Diamond was going to follow him but he quickly turned towards her

"Don't worry, im just gonna fetch you some blanket, i'll be back in a few"

"O-okay"

Dodger her the uncertainty in her voice, he smirk and walked back towards her and nuzzled her nose and left leaving a very red blushing dog.

'I can't believe he just did that'

After a few seconds the blush went down.

"Well it looks like someone is in love"

Said a voice, Diamond turned around and came face to face with Rita.

"Hey look at that your talking to me hehehe"

Diamond laughs nervously but her ears went down when she took notice that Rita was glaring at her.

"I'm sorry but did I do something wrong?"

"Look shakey, I'm just going to tell you this once. Stay away from my Dog"

"Your dog?"

Diamond asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Dodger is mine"

"Hey I'm sorry but you totally got the wrong impression of me. I am not after your boyfriend, okay he just helped me out when dogs were going to attack me and is taking me home tomorrow. So this will be the only day you see me"

Diamond said sternly now having some encouragement because she was getting accuse of something she has no knowledge of.

"You better, because all i see now is that dodger has his eyes on you. So you watch yourself"

Rita said before walking back to her bed. Diamond went to stand next to the stairway when luckily Dodger finally came back. He notice a changed in the atmosphere and looked at Diamonds.

"Hey are you okay?"

"Yeah why shouldn't I be, I'm going home tomorrow. Now let's go to bed."

Diamond grabbed the blanket from Dodger's mouth and set up the blanket not too far from his. Diamond met their human friend Vegan, he was kind enough to let Diamond stay for the night. He also made a comment about Dodger and Diamonds being together which caused them both to blush and Rita to growl.

Everyone settle into bed and went to sleep. It was 3 or 4 in the morning and Diamond just toss and turn unable to go to sleep. She let out a heavy sigh and looked towards Dodger who was surprisingly awake staring at her.

"What?"

"You look better than in my dreams"

Diamond blush

"Ugh here we go again"

Dodger laughs and tried to change the subject before she decided to turn around.

"Why can't you sleep?"

"I don't know, i guess its very cold tonight"

Diamond lied in reality she couldn't stop thinking about Dodger, he was sweet, kind, heroic, a smooth talker but then again there's Rita she gave her a warning to stay away and now feelings are occurring.

Dodger smiled

"Yeah I suppose it is, do you want to come sleep with me?"

Diamond didn't say anything she was too tired to argue as she got up and laid down right next to Dodger's side.

"Now is this much better?"

He asked but he didn't get a response

"Angel?"

He looked to his side and saw she was already fast asleep. He smiled and shook his head, he laid his paw on top of hers and nuzzled the side of her cheek.

'I can't believe I'm falling in love with her and i just only met her on one day. I honestly don't want to leave because everytime i see her smile she makes me feel better inside. I just need to think of a plan and fast'
