I got new glasses the day before. I have very bad eyesight so I need thick lenses. I commonly joke about how I am basically blind and can never see anything. With my old glasses, I always had to squint to see things, even objects right in front of me. But these new glasses work like they're magical. Like just last night I was getting ready for bed and I tucked myself in and began to drift off to sleep when I realized I had forgotten to take of my new glasses. Because of them, I was able to see the tall man that I always thought was a shadow standing there watching me try to sleep. I really need to get new glasses more often.
